Look at this Chunky Love Outline design comes in 3 sizes 4×4, 7×5, and 10×6 Instructions included

This design is for using chunky yarn, it will stitch the outline then , in small sections will allow you to put down yarn and tack it down.  Then it will do a 3rd pass to tack it down again. Says you use 4 colors for the machine but in truth you only use 1 color to match the yarn. There is a link in the instructions to watch how it is done
